Village Highlight: Chestnut Hill
This guide was published in March 2020.
This month our Village Guide is Allison Blank, one of Newton's "go-to" resources for the most interesting, exciting, and yummy things to see, do, and eat in the area for not just for her real estate clients, but also for friends, family, and now, you!
You can often find her chatting with clients or running around with her twin girls at "The Street". You can also follow her on Instagram at @AllisonBlankRealEstate
Favorite thing about your village: the convenience to all of the other villages in Newton and to Boston and Brookline!
Your favorite place to get a great meal: A great spot for an amazing and special meal is Chef Ronskys in Chestnut Hill.
Your favorite place for pizza: we love Frank Pepes in the Chestnut Hill mall! Family friendly, delicious pizza!
A fun playground or park: A walk through Houghton Gardens!
Annual village events to watch for: We love to participate in "Trick or Treat at the Street' around Halloween. Businesses hand out candy, there is music on the green, and tons of free, fun children activities. A great place to meet and connect with other families in the area.
Insider village tips: We have a great viewing spot for the Boston Marathon along the carriage lane on Comm Ave in Chestnut Hill!
Our goal with these village guides is to make all of Newton feel like home. We want to help make sure every Newtonian feels welcome in every village, and knows about the events and great places throughout the City. Previous village guides: www.welcomingnewton.org/village-guides
